Navigator Paper Promotion 2026 — General Regulations

The Navigator Promotion 2026 is organized and sponsored by The Navigator Company, S.A., a company incorporated under the laws of Portugal, with its registered office at Península da Mitrena, 2910-738 Setúbal, Portugal, registered before the Commercial Registry Office of Setúbal under the number 503025798 (the "Promoter"), owner of the Navigator Paper brand.

Eligibility

The promotion is open to all legal residents of the countries listed at the end of these regulations who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. It is each participant's sole responsibility to ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements set out in these Regulations; the Promoter shall have no obligation to verify eligibility prior to entry but reserves the right to do so at any time and to disqualify any participant who does not meet such requirements. Employees of The Navigator Company and Request – Web Solutions, Lda., their parent, subsidiary and affiliate companies, agents, suppliers and service providers involved in the organisation or administration of the Promotion, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible.

Timing

The promotion begins at 00:00 (GMT) on the 1st of September 2026 and ends at 23:59 (GMT) on the 28th of February 2027. Only entries validly submitted during this period will be eligible for evaluation. The Promoter reserves the right to extend, shorten or otherwise modify the promotion period where reasonably necessary.

How to Enter

To take part in the Navigator Paper Promotion, visit https://navigator-paper.com and enter the code printed on the ream package, your e-mail address and your country of residence, then create your design (see "The Contest") in accordance with these Regulations. Participation is completed only when one (1) generated design is submitted for evaluation. Each ream code can be used only once during the Promotion period and lets you generate up to three (3) AI designs of your ream. Only one (1) design per code may be submitted for judging. Each code may be associated with only one participant and may not be transferred, reused or shared. Keep your ream package safe: if you win, you will be asked to provide a photograph of the package showing the code. Participants are responsible for ensuring that the country of residence provided upon entry is accurate. No alternative free entry method is available for this Promotion. The Promoter shall not be liable for any entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete or corrupted due to system errors, network failures, software malfunctions, browser incompatibility or any other technical issues, whether or not within the Promoter's control.

The Contest — AI design

This promotion is a design contest. Using artificial intelligence, participants generate a design for a Navigator paper ream from a text prompt. Designs are produced with AI image generation; the base is always the Navigator Universal ream. Each code grants up to three (3) design generations, of which the participant submits one for evaluation.

Acceptable use. Prompts and resulting designs must not be unlawful, offensive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, hateful or otherwise inappropriate, nor may they infringe any third-party right (including intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights). The Promoter reserves the right to reject, remove, moderate, or disqualify any submission that, in its reasonable opinion, breaches these Regulations or may expose the Promoter to legal or reputational risk.

Intellectual property. By submitting a design, the participant grants the Promoter a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, adapt, modify and communicate the submitted design to the public, in any media and for the purposes of administering, promoting and marketing the Promotion, the Navigator brand and related products. The participant represents and warrants that, to the best of their knowledge, the submitted design does not knowingly infringe any third-party rights and that they are entitled to grant the licence set out in these Regulations.

Prizes

One hundred (100) Apple iPhone 17 (colour Black, 128 GB) and ten (10) Apple MacBook Air 13-inch (colour Sky Blue, Apple M5 chip, 16 GB unified memory, 512 GB SSD). Prizes include only the items contained in the manufacturer's standard packaging; a power adapter is not included. Prizes are awarded on the basis of jury evaluation, in two phases:

Limit of one (1) iPhone per person (per identification document). MacBook winners are selected exclusively from among the iPhone winners. The specific model and configuration delivered will be the equivalent available on the market at the time of delivery. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value where the specified prize is unavailable for any reason. Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable by the winner, and no cash alternative will be offered. Prizes are provided "as is" and the Promoter makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding any prize, including, without limitation, its quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose; any warranty claims shall be directed solely to the manufacturer.

Judging / Selection

Winners are selected by jury. Each month the internal jury evaluates the eligible submissions received during that period based on the judging criteria set out below and selects the winning entries and a number of reserve winners. At the end of the promotion, the special jury evaluates the winning entries from Phase 1 and selects the ten (10) MacBook winners. The jury shall evaluate eligible submissions taking into account, among other factors, creativity, originality, visual impact and overall suitability for the Navigator brand. The above criteria are applied in accordance with detailed scoring parameters set out in the Promoter's internal jury evaluation guidelines. Jury members must act independently and are required to declare, and be replaced in case of, any conflict of interest with a participant, in accordance with the Promoter's internal jury evaluation guidelines. The jury's decisions are final and binding, except where otherwise required by applicable law, and no correspondence will be entered into. Jury composition and evaluation dates will be published before the promotion starts. Only submissions that comply with these Regulations and originate from eligible territories will be considered. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within eight (8) days of notification, the prize will be awarded to a reserve winner.

Prize Validation and Delivery

Winners are notified by e-mail sent from [email protected]. Upon winning, the participant receives a link to a form to submit: (a) a photograph of the original package showing the winning code, and (b) a scanned copy of an official identification document (passport, national ID card, or driver's licence). The code on the package must match the code used to play; failure to provide a matching code results in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. All fields on the identification document may be covered or blacked out except the holder's name, photo, date of birth and document number, which are required to confirm the winner's identity, minimum age (18) and compliance with the one-prize-per-person rule. Documents must be submitted within eight (8) days from the date of notification. The prizes will be held for that period. If the required documentation is not submitted within the prescribed timeframe, the winner shall forfeit the prize, which will then be awarded to a reserve winner. The identification document will be used solely to verify the winner's identity and ensure that the same individual does not receive more than one prize during the Promotion. Prizes are delivered at no delivery cost to residents of the eligible territories. Winners are responsible for any national or local taxes and customs charges. The delivery address must be in the country selected on the entry form. Delivery method may vary by territory: prizes will be shipped by international courier where reasonably practicable. In certain territories, where delivery of the physical prize is not feasible due to customs, logistical or similar constraints, the Promoter may deliver the prize by alternative means (including hand delivery) or provide an Amazon voucher of equivalent value. Only one delivery attempt will be made. If the prize cannot be delivered due to inaccurate or incomplete delivery details provided by the winner, or because the winner fails to accept delivery, no further delivery attempts will be made. The Promoter shall not be liable for delays resulting from the unavailability of the prize from the manufacturer or from circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.

Invalid Participations

Incomplete, invalid or incorrect entries will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any attempt to manipulate the promotion, to use bots or automated means, or otherwise to act against the spirit of the promotion, will result in disqualification. Any failure to follow the procedures outlined here will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

Data Protection

Personal data collected during this promotion is limited to the minimum necessary to enter and run the promotion, and is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national law. The data controller is The Navigator Company, S.A., with registered office at Península da Mitrena, 2910-738 Setúbal, Portugal (NIPC 503025798) (the "Promoter"). The Navigator Company protects participants' personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorized access. Personal data is not shared with third parties except as strictly necessary to deliver the prizes. Marketing communications are sent only to participants who have given their consent. Personal data is processed on the basis of the Promoter's legitimate interest in organising, administering and operating the Promotion (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where participants have given their prior consent, for sending marketing communications (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Participants may, at any time and free of charge, exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, by contacting the Promoter's Data Protection Officer at [email protected]. Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, namely the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at [email protected]. Personal data will be retained for as long as participants do not object to the processing or withdraw their consent, and for the period strictly necessary to administer the Promotion, including the resolution of any related claims. Identification documents submitted by winners are retained only until the closure of the promotion — once all prizes, including those of the final phase, have been delivered — and are permanently deleted afterwards. Personal data is processed within the European Economic Area. Where international transfers are required — for instance, in connection with prize delivery logistics — they will be carried out only where the third country ensures an adequate level of protection in accordance with applicable EU law and agreements. Publicity

If you are a winner, the promoter may ask you to take part in publicity relating to the prize with no further recompense. Winners may be announced on The Navigator Company's channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and others) using only their first name, the initial of their surname and their country (e.g. "Pedro V., Portugal"), together with the winning design. The full name is used only in the internal validation and delivery process. Selected entries may also be featured in the example gallery on the promotion website, credited in the same format (first name, initial of surname and country). Featuring an entry in the gallery does not indicate whether it has or has not won a prize. Submitted designs may be re-posted during the promotional period; this does not increase the chance of winning and is by no means an endorsement. Content posted via any channel that is bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other participants or to The Navigator Company will not be tolerated, and anyone acting in this way will be disqualified.

Disclaimer

The Promoter disclaims any liability for damages including, without limitation, system failures, website accessibility issues, prize shipping delays or any other adverse effects, particularly those arising from the acts or omissions of third parties involved in the Promotion, while undertaking to take reasonable measures to minimise any problems that may arise. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any participant that does not honour the spirit of the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw, terminate or temporarily suspend the promotion where reasonably necessary due to legal, technical, operational or other circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, without liability to entrants or third parties, except where otherwise required by applicable law. By entering the promotion, all participants agree to accept and be bound by these regulations. The Promoter's decisions are final and binding, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
